I sure am - from gardening in a new climate, location, and soil type, to the growing zone being half a zone higher than the last one, I'm pretty optimistic about living here.

Once the homestead Christmas is over, then the fun begins. Seed sowing, organizing the packets, the pots to sow them in, building an old window cold frame and all the other seasonal chores that have to happen before you start planting just gets the engine revving. One of my biggest projects will be to build a greenhouse, which will be she-shed, growing and display area, all in one.
